Founded in 2017, Eddie O’s Texas Barbecue, led by BBQ cook and owner Eddie Ortiz, helped popularize and forward the traditions of Tejano barbecue in Houston. Homemade tortillas, salsas, pico de gallo, and frijoles charros replaced sliced bread, BBQ sauce, and potato salad. From its time as a new operation at D & T Drive Inn in the Heights, Houston to its statewide following and national press coverage inBon Appétit Magazine, Eddie O’s entered the world of barbecue as and has remained the unanimous frijolero of Texas.

Meet The Tamale Pushers
This Texican couple has been pushing hand made tamales and curating local made goods from Texas and our friends across the border since 2008. Israel was born and raised in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico and Elizabeth is from Cleburne, Texas. The two shared a passion for Mexican Cuisine and the culture which sparked the beginning of something great. Starting out with humble roots and a single tamale cart, they now distribute tamales nationwide, with local artisan goods (including our delicious tamales), carts + catering, and their very own brick + mortar Bodega with grab n go meals, hand-crafted kits, and more!
