National Egg Day

Here at The Tamale Company we are huge fans of Eggs! We always make the joke "put an egg on it" Without a doubt it the meal feels like it need that something "extra" we fry or poach an egg. Whether it's tamales, burgers, tortillas, salads or grilled veggies...an egg just gives it the extra something.

This is our number #1 suggestion to our customers when they ask " How do you recccomend I serve the bean tamales" We always go straight for the egg! Here we have taken 3 Southwest Vegan Tamales, roasted a handful of cherry tomatoes // in the oven for 400 degrees for 15 mins with olive oil and salt //  then we top it off with a sunny side egg! If you are wanting to add some more protein, we suggest adding flank steak with Chimichurri sauce.
